Delete Your Procured Account
Which deletion do you want?
There are two different things you can delete from Procured, and they have very different consequences. Please read both options carefully before choosing.
Option 1: Delete my user account
Choose this if you are an employee (or former employee) of a contractor that uses Procured, and you want your personal information removed from Procured. Your employer keeps their business records; only your personal data is removed.
What gets removed
- Your name, email, phone number, profile photo
- Your date of birth and home address, if recorded
- Your authentication credentials and active sessions
- Push notification tokens on any device
- Your in-app notification preferences
What your employer keeps (because it is their business record)
- Timesheets and hours worked -- required for payroll retention under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage law (typically 3 to 6 years depending on state)
- Invoices you drafted, jobs you completed, notes you wrote about client work
- Audit log entries showing actions taken in the system -- your name is replaced with "Deleted User" but the timestamp and action remain
- Employment records required for tax and legal compliance
Timeline
Deletion is typically completed within 24 hours of verifying your identity. You will receive a confirmation email when it is complete.
How to request
The fastest way is in the app: Settings > Account > Delete my account. If you cannot access the app, click the button below to open your email client with a prefilled request. Your message will be sent from your own email account, which verifies your identity.

This is destructive and irreversible after the 30-day waiting period.
Only the owner of a Procured company can request this. It removes all business records belonging to the company, including records for every employee, client, job, invoice, and payment.
What gets removed
- All clients, jobs, quotes, proposals, and invoices
- All employees and their access to the company
- All photos, files, documents, and attachments
- All operational data: schedules, visits, timesheets, expenses, vendor bills
- All integrations: Stripe Connect, QuickBooks Online, and any other connected services
- All in-app notifications, chat messages, and audit logs visible to company users
What is retained after deletion (and why)
Certain records are retained in secure, access-restricted cold storage for up to 7 years to comply with legal obligations. These records cannot be used by anyone to access your company again and are automatically purged when the retention period expires:
- Financial records (invoices, payments, refunds, ledger entries) -- required by IRS employment tax law and state wage law
- Payroll records (timesheets, pay runs) -- required by the Fair Labor Standards Act and state payroll laws (up to 6 years in New York)
- Stripe Connect account metadata -- required under the US Bank Secrecy Act (5-year floor)
- Anonymized audit trail -- required to prove we performed the deletion on request
Timeline
- Day 0: You submit the request and verify your identity
- Days 1-29: 30-day waiting period. You can cancel at any time by logging back in. We send reminder emails at day 7, day 21, and day 29.
- Day 30: Retained records are archived to cold storage, operational data is purged, Stripe Connect account is archived, and a confirmation email is sent to the owner.
Data export
Before deletion starts, we will offer to generate a zip of your business records (CSV and PDF formats) so you can keep copies for your own tax and legal compliance. Request this in your email if you want it.
How to request

If you cannot access the app, click the button below to open your email client with a prefilled request. Your message must come from the owner's email account on file for identity verification.

- We will confirm receipt of your request within 72 hours.
- We may ask follow-up questions to verify your identity or scope the request.
- User account deletion completes within 24 hours of verification; company deletion completes 30 days after verification.
- You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
- If you are exercising rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or a state privacy law, we will respond within the timeframe required by that law (typically 30 to 45 days).
